Fun one-day trips

The State Fair of Texas’ 2017 theme is “Celebrating Texans.”  Adding to its annual offering of more than 100 daily performances, 70 Midway rides, Midway games, and endless activities across the fairgrounds, the State Fair is excited to announce several new attractions this year!  Some of them include two commemorative exhibits recognizing the 100th anniversary of America’s entry into World War I .  “Texas in the First World War” provides an in-depth look into Lone Star State history and will display a collection of wartime memorabilia and vehicles from that era. Upon arrival you will receive a map and list of all there is to see and do while visiting the fair.
